It would be interesting to see "community organizers" take over for the police. What could go wrong with that?

Probably would be like what is going on in Seattle right now...

Kelly Terry's speed with Hanna Brandt's hands would have been something to behold...

I remember her most for her relentless forechecking AND backchecking. Always quick to pressure the opponent player with the puck, forcing turnovers...
And those turnovers would often ultimately result in points for her too. She was a real joy to watch...
 
Another thing we will miss with the State Fair being postponed is seeing Coach and the captain(s) sitting on the stage and talking about the upcoming season. Anyone know who will be wearing the C and the A now that they have had their first official team meeting?

A 12-pack of Diet Coke says that Brown will have the 'C'. No guess on the alternates.

You might want to add a hyphen to that statement, so that it reads 're-signs' rather than 'resigns'.

If we're discussing Gopher alumnae signings...

I'd recommend not having a goalie coach. It's doing the UW men wonders.
 
So, assuming we have a season, which of the goalies do folks here think will earn the No. 1 position in the second half, and then into the playoffs? Or will it be a continuous rotation in net until the regular season is finished?
Hard to say, but if I had to guess, the coaches will give Bench, who is obviously the most experienced, every opportunity to be the No. 1.

There's a lot of quality taunting to be done to a goalie with the name Bench. Too bad we won't get a chance to do it.
