We've had alumni events at Eli's before and they were, I would say, average to slightly above. We're going to a new place for our alumni event this weekend; hopefully a better experience.

Early on in the broadcast, the commentators were talking about how Frost "had changed the culture of this program" in his 7 years there. From your perspectives, could some of the Minnesota folks elaborate on what changes have been seen during his tenure?

Note from Gopher Women's token SCSU fan: Finish it off! This team has been the premiere hockey program in college hockey in recent memory--perhaps for all time. I am grateful for having seen them play.

[Maybe this Frost guy will think that there is nothing more to do at U of M. Perhaps he needs a challenge to rebuild a demoralized, crumbling program like . . . well, like SCSU. I checked with the other 4 SCSU fans, and we all agree we would welcome Brad Frost to the Cloudy Town.]

Wishful thinking, although there is precedent for a former Gopher coach taking over the reigns up in St. Cloud...;)

And that was for 1 year and then he never coached college hockey again......;)

But first Frost has to defeat Canada in Olympic competition, and do so in a somewhat miraculous fashion.

After four straight losses to a particular team, one that is undefeated in Olympic completion since the last century, a win over them would qualify as miraculous. ;)
