Midwest regional: North Dakota v. Wisconsin

Re: Midwest regional: North Dakota v. Wisconsin

but was their explanation of the rule correct? the guy who might have been offsides - that didn't lead directly to the goal... so was it just an offside review or was their explanation BS?

Offsides is reviewable on goals only. If the officials had erred in the call, it would've been no goal.

Re: Midwest regional: North Dakota v. Wisconsin

a former Gamblers announcer had a favorite phrase, which is appropriate right now.

"Hockey cliche #42 in full effect"

translation = the next goal is a big one

I gotta drive to GB tomorrow for a tryout (my kid's) at Cornerstone...

Just noticed that you're a St. Norbert fan.

Yep... and alum. Last Saturday night was crazy - UW hoops on TV, UW hockey on the ipad, and SNC title win on the computer, all at the same time.

Not sure what time your event is, but Gamblers are home against Team USA tomorrow 7pm, and vs Waterloo at 3pm Sunday

Tryouts are 3-6 I believe and then we're gonna either go home or the Badgers win this, find a bar to watch.

My kid has had games in St. Norbert's rink and I gotta imagine that place rocks when it's full.

It can, when the students are there and engaged. It can be a bit too quiet if it's just the 'adults' and townies to rely on.

Re: Midwest regional: North Dakota v. Wisconsin

Uh-oh. Might just be heading home.

Can we post a score in the SCORE UPDATES THREAD? THank you.

Re: Midwest regional: North Dakota v. Wisconsin

they announced to the crowd what was being reviewed; contact with the goaltender or played with a high stick. wasn't with a stick.
