This color guy is horrible, a virtual cliche fest, if he says "highly skilled" one more time I am going to shoot myself or start playing a drinking game to it.

He's a well known name with genuine enthusiasm for the game and an ability to connect with fans. That's worth a lot.

I agree.. However we were talking.. Anytime he, Melrose, or anyone else on ESPN discusses highlights or NHL play, they use hockey lingo.. This would maybe be fine for many of us here, but does a casual fan understand what "a silky move with his saucy paws" means? Or are they turned off by the lack of understanding?

Oh, I agree with you. Atleast somebody in Bristol works to get hockey airtime on sportscenter and whatnot. But he still makes me cringe sometimes with stuff he says. Pair him with Melrose and it's just... ugh.

TV timeouts are a huge advantage for UND getting the CBS and Johnson line out almost nonstop, Luke Johnson is coming alive for the playoffs.
