Miami gets a slop goal in front of the net. No idea why the wistle wasn't blown- Hunwick had it cleanly under his pad.

If it was under his pad, it wouldn't have been slapped into the net :)

Boy, Michigan really puts on the pressure when they're penalty-killing. None of this sit back in a tight box stuff. It's like a basketball press or something.

wow was that second penalty on michigan harsh...i was sure it was miami that was getting a penalty when the whistle blew. i just hope all the ford field conspiracy people are watching this game!!

no shots from the 4-3, and it's 4-4 for 40 seconds before a short Michigan PP.

Well, you learn something every day. I thought you had to hit the person to have it be slashing. Turns out slashing means "when a player swings his stick at an opponent or impedes or attempts to impede an opponent by slashing with his stick."

Don't worry, the parade will end. Come the 3rd period someone'll have to get shot to draw a penalty.
