Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Tonight we have:
Plymouth State at Worcester State 5:30 pm
UMass Dartmouth at Salem State 7:00 pm MASCAC-TV
Salve Regina at Suffolk 7:00 pm
Southern N.H. at Franklin Pierce 7:00 pm
Westfield State at Framingham State 7:20 pm

Post the scores as you get them. Twitter scores to #d3hockeyscores, and if there is any internet media besides the UMD-SSC game, let us know.

Speaking of which, is there going to be a MASCAC write-up anytime soon? This is a big week, with some intriguing match-ups. One would think that USCHO would have had a preseason column out at the end of last week.

I watched the Salem State game, or at least the 3rd period. For the price (free), it was fine & the announcers were decent plus got very excited covering the last minute of play. They did a nice job quickly coming up with the 3 stars of the game as soon as it ended, with good justifications for their picks. Surprised a home opener & key league matchup only drew about 200 fans though.

125 may have paid, but the students (free) left the basketball game (blowout loss) and came over to the rink to watch the game. My son estimated by the end there were about 1,000 in the stands. Not bad for a commuter school.

"Opening night" yesterday was a success for favored teams. No upsets. No blowouts.

Wednesday games will favor the home teams across the board.

The schedule makers must have had crystal balls.....all first league games are played by teams where either had a chance to win. (No SSC vs FramSt) This will tend to generate some interest in following the MASCAC. :) :)

Wow, whats the inside scoop over at Nichols. They tied Franklin Pierce then lost to Becker in their last 2 games. Did they graduate a lot of their firepower from last year?
