Joe and home for the Spartans this weekend against the Wolverines.

Michigan continues to score like they're the Oilers dynasty. MSU actually won a game last weekend! Before falling the next night... I believe that makes it 2-16-1 since Nov 14.

But hey, at least we get to play for some stupid trophy Friday night.

I believe it's 7:30 on FSD for Friday. 5:00 Saturday at Munn on BTN, follows the basketball game at 2:00 on CBS, though that contest takes place in AA.

I've only seen one advertisement involving the trophy, so even Olympia isn't putting too much effort into it.

What's funny is I saw a bunch. At late night, shows you how highly they regard this sport.

UM 6-2 Friday and 5-2 Saturday at Munn. Eleven games (including one Tournament game) left.

I didn't win the pair of tickets to the Joe game my company was giving away and I'm not sure I want to spend money to go. Maybe I'll just watch this weekend's games on tv.

Expected wins for Michigan. Hopefully we don't overlook Sparty, 'cause anything can happen.

Is the trophy given after the weekend or just the game at the Joe?

If you are going to the game at the joe, stop at Two James on the way home. It's not 10 year old rye, as they are too young. But it's really good. ;)

7-0 UM on Friday, 4-3 UM on Saturday.

I saw the Friday game on TV and was in Columbus for the Saturday game. MSU is playing better and the team effort level was a little higher. A couple of the players actually looked pretty good! (MacEachern, in particular, had a very good weekend.)

At the very least, I no longer think a 29-loss season is a possibility.

But we're still getting crushed this weekend. Even if we had six healthy defensemen, UM is a matchup nightmare.

Alternates each year so one team only gets one home game a year. For some reason I remember one of the first years Comley was coach they did a coin flip to decide the home team, which made no sense because they've been playing there since the late 80s.

There went from having two at the Joe to one at the Joe, so they had to coin-flip to determine who was going to lose the home game first.

I dunno; I think this thing needs a pro wrestler, a rapper, a baseball celebrity who did one semester at one of the schools, a barely intelligible ex-CFB coach and a 3-ring circus leader.
