Michigan Tech @ Wisconsin...the return of Shirtless Guy

Re: Michigan Tech @ Wisconsin...the return of Shirtless Guy

I'd say it's a reach to say Tech SHOULD have won. Both teams were awful and both teams had chances, including in OT.

Tech ahd 2 pipes in the first...If those go in the net there are a lot of dead bodies floating in Mendota tonight.

A missed opportunity for sure...

There was also a moment in OT when Wisconsin's goalie was out of position and the puck just needed a nudge to go in the net. Lucky for him, he got to it before the Tech player. I thought that was going in for sure.

I think Tech set a record for the most men in the box at one time at the UW arena.

Also, when is Wisconsin going to win at home?

Re: Michigan Tech @ Wisconsin...the return of Shirtless Guy

I thought wisconsin was way better than in the past weeks. whoever plays them from now on better look out.

Really? They couldn't get a win at home against a sub-.500 Tech team that just lost FIVE regular skaters to injury coming in.
But I didn't see either game (or any WI games this year), so I guess you could be right.

As an NMU fan I am probably the last person to be defending MTU. However, Wisconsin hasnt been able to win at home against anyone. It should be no shock Tech held their own.

Any fan of Wisconsin is in no place to bash MTU as a "sub par 500 team". They are a good group of guys this year. Had this series been played in Houghton, Tech would have won handily.

For the record, Tech Sucks. NMU was off this weekend so I pickex Tech to root for. Helped that both games were in HD on FSN Wisco.

You misunderstood me. I'm not calling Tech a sub "par" team. I meant their win/loss record is sub-.500.

Well wisconsin did get three points AT Denver last week and did get their two best players back, so sub 500 or not they are going to make noise from here on if you ask me.
Second I thought it was funny how much heat Eaves took for two ties against a good team. I thought Tech was better on friday and deserved to win, on sat I thought wisconsin was better, but either way like Eaves said, it's a battle every night in this league.

Of all the games Tech has played this year, according to Dirk, fridays was the best one, yet we ended up tied.

When was the lAst time that there was back to back ties in a series?
