Anyway... My thoughts on tonight's game...
It's the first time this season that I can say that I thought the team played great. Although, I haven't seen many games. I was really proud of the guys for the effort tonight. I'm surprised and saddened that Brett Olson didn't get a goal. He was really hungry for one!
First period was AMAZING. Completely AMAZING.
I've been EXTREMELY frustrated this year... more than any other year for whatever reason. But tonight, the only reason I was upset was...for the guys. They. Deserved. Better.
Hopefully they'll put together another mostly-complete game... but this time, get some results out of it. I can't imagine how discouraging it must be to go out there, give it your all, and get NOTHING from it. St. Cloud just continued to light the lamp. Everything seemed to blow up in Tech's face. It's gotta make it harder for the next game... knowing that you're going to put in all the effort you can, and probably get nothing out of it... except penalties.
Gosh, my heart is just as broken as can be over this team right now. I don't even know what else to do. Since this team is so young, I'm hoping we will get our turn in 2-3 years. It's tough, but we might just have to wait it out.
