BG can still get in with wins by MTU, BU, Harvard, Miami, and Minnesota. So yeah, we're pretty much out.

Yes. The band later asked the heads of security about going shirtless with body paint, and security said no dice. Couldn't even just wear the striped overalls. Had to have a shirt on.

Edit: same lot tomorrow. Sounds like more people will be there earlier (10am or so) to beat the Wild crowd to the lot. The DQ is no more, but look for a dry cleaners. Same lot. Tom Reid himself stopped by to say hi. The official word is, if he (or any of his employees) "don't know about the tailgate" winkwink, we're good to go.

The rules are simple:

1. Don't be a dikc.
2. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.

All are welcome.

Huh, must be the only situation I didnt try. This situation only works if North Dakota does not win the 3rd place NCHC game. That being said there's just as good a chance of this happening as anything else. I'll be rooting for it to happen. BG is too good of a team to not get a bid...

I was looking and don't see anything like they had at the Liffey yesterday. Maybe they dont' want to compete with the WCHA fan fest near Gate 1?

I see they'll have a post game gathering outside section 113.


Side note: there's also a viewing party in the morning with the team at Eagle Street Grille.

all these nice comments from the LSSU and Northern fans. believe me, I would feel exactly the same if the positions were reversed. the UP was into hockey before hockey was cool. way before!

most likely by the time the post game gathering starts, Shirtless and Blue will have the pairwise brackets done and we'll know which regional we are going to.!

I really hope South Bend, I could stay with my wife's parents and go then.
