Imagine Boosh with the remote freqs. He could shock whoever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

I like where you're going with this. Can we get a few of those to test out on the Misfits?

And by "try this," we mean "make an enormous Nintendo controller, bring it to the games and have individual people mash the buttons while screaming 'UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A START!"

Why do I suddenly have the urge to play "Contra"?

PS - Don't forget to hit SELECT in that sequence otherwise you end up giving the opposing team 30 goals before the game even starts!

Was wondering if Jake Hauswirth's scholarship will be replaced by another player this year or are they saving it as an additional recruiting spot for next year.

You are only allowed so many full scholarships per year, or their equivalents. If the money goes unused this season, it can't be carried over. Unless a deserving recruit can be brought in this season, it's possible that the money could be apportioned to players who are on partials this year.

Random note:

Painted Bandit's roommate apparently wants to try the Baltika Challenge when MN faces MTU this December. 51oz bottle, btw. And it is a true challenge. He's in for a surprise. :D

Any other takers, since I am willing to bring out bottles of this? Cost of the bottle is $3 or so (and it's actually a decent beer, it's not like it's Mickey's or Miller High Life or anything, but then again, it's no Guinness or Paulaner).

So Seth Soley and Jordan Baker came to the paint store yesterday.

With apologies, I have to clarify the Baltika Challenge's purpose, due to a couple questions I've had to answer:

1. It's not like Edward 40 Hands where you just get hammered. The BC is to see how sober you are after finishing the No. 9 51ozer. It packs more of a punch than one might think.

2. It's not that it's tough. It's more of an entertainment thing for those who have tried it. :D

3. BPH named it the Baltika Challenge because it sounds cooler than saying "let's see how Baltika affects this person!" (since, as per #2 points out, it's not really a challenge). ;)

Anyway, less than 4 months before the Arrogant Fanbase visits. I love this series. Both sets of fans are awesome.

If I didn't know that this would COMPLETELY wreck me, I would try. But, I know this would completely destroy me.

I would guess that you'd be pretty drunk. Puking? I doubt it, unless you drank it really fast. I know I split the bottle into 3 servings (one for each period) while watching a hockey game last year, and I was far from fit to drive.

Painted Bandit's experience was similar. He was 2/3 the way through it after DDing us back to his place, and then he said, "Yeah, this is really kicking in right now." :D

It just sneaks up on you.

$3 for 4 beers? That's a deal and a half.

Yes... yes it does. If you aren't in shape, even a pint bottle will make you feel it.

Oh, and definitely NOT something to do after a bar crawl... only before.

I did? Must have been after a bottle of Baltika. :o
