Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Screw It, Somebody Look Up The Cheat Codes

excuses, excuses.

MEg made it up for most of the games last season
She has a more flexible schedule, and she's crazy.:p

Going to games this season, I think I'd rather try to catch a bunch of road games, since I'm fairly close to several WCHA towns and then make a couple trips to Houghton for series that I'm really looking forward to...like the Gophers series, Carnival and first round of playoffs:rolleyes:

Why, so you can cheer for the Gophers? :p

You know I'm doing the opposite. buying season tickets and then going to the not so popular games and selling the carnival tickets. It would be sweet though to see them beat umn again, that win was particularly invigorating.

I'm 90 miles from DU. Have fun, guys, I'll be over here winning. :p

I think I'll make it to some major Tech series once I have some leave racked up, though. I expect to make GLI and Carny if I can, maybe the F5 and/or F4.

Now THAT is crazy talk; the WNBA is just a myth, like the moon landing or women at Tech.

hey now...

Happy Birthday Twitch and P_B.

Seconded.

I'm just that good. ;) :p
Indeed, I love the event, but I'm gradumatated and no longer live in Houghton. I can't be there this year. :o :(
Looks like I'll just have to be your replacement.

All of this talk of away games makes me what to start thinking about some.
However, with the SCSU/18th Birthday & F5 ones already shot down by stupid BPA, I'm not as excited.

I can't wait until your presence and support curses them. :p

You're a slacker. Last year, I already had my away games planned about a week after the schedule came out. :D

The only trip I regret turning down, budget be d@mned, is Duluth. Even though you won't be old enough to hit the downtown bars after the games, don't miss your chance to see a couple games in the old DECC arena before they replace it.

Huh, what are you talking about?
Did something happen to my team's namesake?

If you haven't at least heard about it by now, you must turn in your man card immediately.

If you don't make the MTU-MN series in Houghton, then you BETTER make the F5.

Swung past the arena today, construction seems to be progressing briskly. There are no longer acceptable vantage points to capture the progress from as they have put up drywall.

Difference between you and I...
I'm not even officially a college student yet. :p
I'm planning on going to Duluth, mayyybe Mankato (comes down to South Carolina, Minnesota, or Detroit for Thanksgiving), Madison, obviously Northern, and the GLI.

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Screw It, Somebody Look Up The Cheat Codes

Mankato is horrible. Why would you want to go there?

Maybe the Pre-Frosh wants to see just how bad it is, and just how good she really has it at Tech?? ;)

Re: Michigan Tech Offseason III: Screw It, Somebody Look Up The Cheat Codes

Did you have your road trips planned out for freshman year that far in advance?

I hate to say this, but I wasn't really into hockey my freshman year. I didn't join tSBFitW until I was a sophomore. I knew we had a team, but I didn't get hooked until I started getting into a bunch of home games for free. :o

*gasp* you're terrible.
although, I'm no longer enrolled in Pep Band as a class, as that would put me at 19 credits, so I might actually not do it this year.

I did 19 credits of actual classes my freshman year and survived...

I don't feel like getting "special permission" and such.
you mean your fall semester of your freshman year?

A large part of it had to do with me carrying 17 credits as a freshman. It turned out to be too much, mostly because I was doubting whether I really wanted to be a CS major, and I just kind of gave up on CS1131 by the end of October.

I didn't really hit my stride until Summer 2006, when I was able to get a fresh start in a new major that I actually cared about.

I read what happened shortly after that post. I was pretty busy with my design review earlier today, so I only had time to look around on here and didn't see any news until later.
