A look back at history... the last time a loss to Mankato would derail Tech's hopes was when Tech was trying to leap frog Mankato to climb out of the basement...
Tech needs to only look in the mirror if they wonder that any team can beat any other in the WCHA. As long as the team plays well, I would take any number of points. I just don't want to see a regression in style of play or effort at this point because the team has made some serious strides in 2011-12.

I wish the media would quit pounding the drum about the "new MTU" success and the miracle at Duluth. It's going to jinx the team. Better if they were ****ed because the media ignored them.

Anyone know if Mankato streams their games on the web? I'd like to watch this series.

Though I agree, as it gives the Purple Cows bulletin board material and incentive. It will give the fans a flavor of how tMEL gets his team to handle such things.

Do you guys raffle jerseys at the games, or otherwise sell them in some fashion?
I've taken a liking to the ones you guys have used the last couple years.
My cash and your jersey = good trade.

They have a silent auction for that year's "special" jerseys. This year they wore some God-awful camouflage jerseys for the game against the U18 team. Other than that, there is no authentic jerseys for sale. They sell 3 players' jerseys each weekend. If you just want a generic jersey,there is a small retail area where they sell the jerseys and all of the other MSU stuff. I think you can get them online from the campus bookstore as well.

I guess we'll find out in an hour, but after all, those are important schools, and that game is only on the B1G alternate channels, and that might not be enough coverage.

Well played game by the Mavs. Got a little bit sketchy in the second period, but Cook held up when they needed him to the most. Nice to see guys finally burying the puck.
