No. 2 Denver (20-6-4, 14-4-4 WCHA) hosts Michigan Tech (5-22-1, 4-18-0 WCHA) on Feb. 19-20. Puck drop is set for 7:37 p.m. MT on Friday, Feb. 19 and 7:07 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Magness Arena. Both games will be televised by FSN Rocky Mountain and FCS and broadcast live on FM 104.3 the FAN. Audiocast and live stats are available on www.DenverPioneers.com.

went to a funky little military beach bar and our fellow partiers included a member of the Washington Redskins, a retired Navy Captain who knits and a spy. felt down right ordinary.

Gwoz - Martin getting close to being ready. If this were a playoff game he would be in the line-up. DU going with the 7-11 combo again; 7 D-men and 11 forwards.

Dirk's interview with Jamie Russell:
-Jamie wants the Huskies to be more aggressive on the forecheck
-noticed more self-belief in the locker room, wishes there hadn't been an off-week
-wants MacLeod's line against Rakhshani line as much as possible
-Huskies need lots of pucks going to the net, traffic in front of the net
-had a hard skate Thursday last, pleased with how they responded. Had a skills comp last Friday
-sounds like he won't be playing the fourth line terribly much, and only when the Colborne/Rakhshani line has been out for a while and are going to get benched shortly
