No. 5 Denver (2-0-0, 0-0-0 WCHA) opens Western Collegiate Hockey League action, when the Pioneers host Michigan Tech (1-1-0, 1-1-0 WCHA) on Friday at 7:37 p.m. MT and Saturday at 7:07 p.m. MT. Both games will be webcast live on Pioneer Vision, and will air live on 102.3 ESPN.

Greetings to my fellow Pioneer fans and to the Techies as well.

I saw that CC lost to the Cornholios tonight. Absent from the CC score thread was our good friend Ron Plaxico. But who cares.

Let's get this game going! Pio Vision now up with Jay and Rycroft.

I think the 7 will just rotate all game long. Makowski will certainly be taking a regular shift.

It looks like we will get hit Monday night into Tuesday with rain bands starting Sunday sometime. Last year we lost power for 2.5 days when Irene hit us.

I know Makowski scored from 180 feet, but it would be nice to spend more time in the offensive zone.

0-0 9:36 left in 1st, DU's all frosh line struggling a bit with the puck. Sam is looking solid.
