What a turn at the end. A power play goal to tie it! Finalllly. We stayed out of the box when the ref’s had every reason to give an equalizer. A Friday win!

It looks like we took the wind completely out of Bemidji’s sails. Looking for a great Saturday from this team.

We got lucky but i'll take it. I thought most of the penalties were penalties but a number of the two minute ones were something that could go either way. That was true of both the two against Tech and the what 8 against BSU.

I thought we could play better but the last 5 minutes of the game we played pretty well.

Anyone how has ever met Jeff Sauer would know why the league named the trophy for him. A GREAT in this game!

Congrats Tech!

Wow, basically an entire period on the power play! Bemidji beat themselves tonight with those major penalties, and we got lucky on a couple marginal minors that kept them from getting any momentum.

Go Huskies!!

That was a crazy game, I couldn’t really believe they did it, but it was awesome.

Holy crap! All I can say about that ending.

Re: Michigan Tech 2017-18 The Joe Shawhan Era Continues - Getting Better Everyday

I liked the way we came out in the first 5 minutes of #1. Nice shorty.

I hated the way we tried to sit on that lead for the next two periods.

The final 5 goals were really something. Amazing. Horrible. Awesome.

Saddened to learn of the passing of Tech hockey radio legend Bob Olson last night in Connecticut. He was a mentor, a role model and a dear friend.

We lost a good one. A great broadcaster and advocate of college hockey and a wonderful man. He sparked my love of college hockey in the 70s with his MTU broadcasts. RIP Bob you will be missed.

Was Bob the originator of "Shoot-Puck-SCORE!"? I still remember fondly the instant replays on the radio. When I tell people about them, they just laugh. :p
