Is there a way to 'Facebook like' an USCHO post? I started reading back, and then I heard about Gulkes hairy balls, anal beads, "a warm shot of Yag" and I decided I'd rather not puke my breakfast on my computer

I'd like to think that, but I've got a bad feeling about this game after the surprisingly well-played Gopher series.

Genoe will get no support and we'll be down 3-0 after one. 5-1 NMU, final.

Also, I hate to say it, but this series is probably due for a lame penaltyfest, which tend to happen in Marquette for whatever reason (probably CCHA officiating). So if these teams combine for 50+ PIMs tonight, I won't be surprised.

I honestly think it would be nice to have WCHA officials at the GLI at least once every 4 year :p especially in the years where there are 2 WCHA teams

A LOT of the fringe ticky-tack stuff gets called in the CCHA, while blatant calls are missed. I think part of it has to do with the officials being made so aware of "contact to the head," and "checking from behind" that they miss the hooks, interference, tripping, etc. plays that are right in front of them.

It doesn't help either where in the two-ref system, one ref is usually just "along for the ride" and doesn't whistle plays down as often as the other. I would LOVE to see some accountability made and stats kept for who called which penalty.

Could someone send me an email through the address in my profile with the name of the MTU player who had two medical redshirt years? The topic came up in the RPI recruit thread, and this seemed like the fastest way to find out.
