Ironically Pete Heinonen is Trent D.'s first cousin. Only seen him play once in my life - I have no opinion on him; beside does it really matter how good or bad he is, Russell already conceded losing games this past weekend because he's playing walkons - great statement for player morale. One more isn't going to make a difference.

First off, let me get this straight.... you spend half your posts criticizing Russell for not recruiting or letting Daavettila join the team, and now your criticizing him for letting a local player walk on??? Are you kidding me?

Second, do you even follow Tech hockey at all? The kid is getting a shot at walking on because Tech has too many players injured. I'm pretty sure (can't find the list of injuries right now, but I'm pretty sure its earlier in this thread) but I think it's close to the point where Russell wouldn't even be able to put a full team on the ice. It has nothing to do with their record (although the injuries sure do).
