Nick Lehr will make his first start of his career. he starting for Alex Wilcox. Who out with a injury and is day to day.

Someone can update the game, i will be in and out watching the Wild. Gophers basketball heading to OT, so Hockey is coming on after that.

It's 2-0 Michigan State as the Spartans have two goals on 3 shots. Gophers freshman G Nick Lehr struggling in his first career start.

Teams like MSU scare me especially when they play the boring trap. IMO, every school in the Big Ten should be playing exciting hockey and not the boring trap. It's painful.

Travis Boyd finds a loose puck and buries it for his 16th goal of the season. Gophers cut MSU's lead to 3-1 in the first.

END 1ST: Michigan State 3, Gophers 1. Lehr gives up 3 goals in first period of first career start, Boyd gives Gophers life late in period.

Despite the excellent execution of their NZT, the Gophers still had several good looks at Hildebrand, but Hilde is on tonight. Hopefully Lehr settles down.

GOPHERS GOAL! Hildebrand is caught sprawling and Mike Reilly finds the back of the net. Minnesota trails 3-2 with 16:20 in the second.
