Alaska needs a win to start a run at a repeat appearance at the NCAAs; Michigan State is looking to become a TUC.

Shots are 19-8 Alaska, but Jake Chelios scored a PPG to make it 1-0.

After two periods it's 1-1. Nooks get a goal from Quinn, shots are 24-11 Alaska.

Nooks win with 20.6 left in 1OT off a goal from Yaremchuk, 3-2 final! MSU coaches very unhappy about something, chewing out the refs pretty hard.

I would like to listen to this game but With Bruce Cech and ah, um, ah um, well, ah Drygas, it is so painful I don't know if I can handle it.

I don't mind Cech too much, but Drygas is a little much.

So the CCHA in all of their wisdom doesn't do a shootout to decide playoff games?
