Second skater? I think the first skater is what matters. Of course there were three in this case.
The MSU radio announcers said it was clearly offsides, for what its worth.

I think the assumption is, the first skater is the puck carrier, which had the puck over the line before his line mate followed.

I guess I should have clarified... the first skater = puck carrier.

Of course the MSU radio announcers would say that.

I might normally take the tv/radio announcers word for it, but since I have a DVR, I decided to go back and get a definitive look. The linesman was wrong. It happens. Michigan probably would've blown the 3-on-1 anyway.

Now Sucharski gets called for tripping. MSU announcers said Michigan player was already going down before the contact. Saw the replay. Too close to say.

Haven't seen a minute of State hockey this year other than the thrilling view from the USCHO score updates, but am extremely impressed at the results thus far. Anyone know Comley's cumulative record against Michigan since he's been at State? Just curious.
