Re: Miami @ RPI, Saturday, 1/3/15

Round 2 tonight-hope the boys were not discouraged by last night. They did some thing very right(and a few very wrong). But they did well enough to be in it with a chance to tie late. This is a very good Miami team and to be that close last night with so many of our boys sidelined, just shows how hard the fellows out there tried. Go Red!

Re: Miami @ RPI, Saturday, 1/3/15

We played much better than I expected last night, but there were still too many giveaways in the defensive zone.
We just aren't going to win many games scoring two goals.
Were all of last nights scratches for injuries? Is the flu going through the team? Or was the coach making a statement?
How many of those guys are back tonight?
Just wondering what is going on in the dressing room.

Re: Miami @ RPI, Saturday, 1/3/15

I just finished watching the post game interview. Suspensions for the leadership of this team. Wow. Where do we go from here?
Even more disappointing than the team's record.

If they broke a team rule, they should be suspended. SA was noncommittal as to how long the suspensions will be.

I don't disagree with the suspensions. My disappointment is with the players.
As for the length of the suspensions, I suspect that it will depend on the players themselves. By making it indefinite, SA leaves himself open to reinstatement when he thinks that have learned from this.
No matter how you look at it, this is not good for the team.

Seemed to do OK without them out there. Of course, some people will razz Miami that they didn't beat us by more, but to quote John Kennedy, "It doesn't matter how, just how many." Play the hand that we have, and see what we can do.

BTW, given tonight is Autism Awareness Night, assuming I don't go to the game with FlagDUDETTE, there will be a special Autism Awareness game reset.

Re: Miami @ RPI, Saturday, 1/3/15

The crowd may be even smaller than last night due to poor weather being forecasted for the area tonight. So if anyone is going tonight, be careful out there.

Started snowing here in S.Bethlehem about 1/2hr ago. It’s coming down pretty good & it’s sticking.

Is that a threat? Please, please, go to the game.:p;).

Taking a look at RPI-TV, it looks as if Miami's radio will be synced with the video, in case the visitors wish to watch. The cost for video is a nice round number, too.

Are there any Miami fans? I don't recall any posts by them yesterday.

Re: Miami @ RPI, Saturday, 1/3/15

The women lost a tough 1-0 game to Q School. RPI was outshot 34-8 (5 shots in the 3rd).
