Well, the first Ferris penalty really early in the 3rd was questionable. The CFB in the 2nd was a no-brainer. Even Keith Sergott would get that one right.

Kirzinger takes a stupid icing right there, just firing it blindly down the ice instead of trying to breakout. You cannot do things like that and expect to win games.

I can't see the play, and I'm not disputing or making any comments on the penalty calls. But it is pretty amusing when a Ferris fan in the stands has to tell him that "no matter how the calls may be going, he needs to STFU because he sounds like an idiot."

As a play by play guy, you must have objectivity on the air. You can have a Mickey Redmond-type that will criticize officials from time to time, but the PBP has to call the play, not talk about the officiating.

Didn't see the play, out of the camera shot. Is this a CFB?

It is a major for CFB.

Ferris PP for 5:00. Any and all life in this game lies directly in the next 5 minutes of the game.

Exactly. I'm not sitting here like "what do you mean the calls are all one sided!" because I haven't seen a single second of action tonight, but come on buddy, keep it simple out there. Even the color guy has refused to elaborate on his comments the majority of the time.

Well, the color guy is the head hockey coach at Big Rapids High. He's seen a game or two.

I've watched the entire game, except when I've come here to post. The officiating hasn't been the best, but I've seen much worse travesties. I've seen exactly two blatantly horrid calls tonight.

No I've heard that sound for two seasons, yes Brent Brekke does whistle at the end of penalties, but there is someone in the crowd that sounds like a dying dog trying to mimmick it.

Hey Guys,

I appreciate the comments, good and bad. Obviously there are misquotes in the chat rooms, and explanations for everything that is said on air. I am only 23 games into my career and hopefully one day I can make it where only good comments will be said. I appreciate everybody listening to Bulldog Hockey.

In the meantime, Go Bulldogs!
