Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Walt still rescues Jesse. To have Jesse have the life Walt tried to preserve: Family. He saves Jesse (and whats her face and Brock, who the Nazis have threatened, to make Jesse cook), so that Jesse can live the life Walt wanted to have when he started this whole business.

Walt comes back and saves Jesse. Then turns state's evidence against the Nazis and goes into Witness Protection. We all find out that the whole time this was a prequel to Malcolm in the Middle...

:D

This week's guests on Talking Bad are Parks & Rec’s Adam Scott and Comic Book Men’s Bryan Johnson

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

Some (supposed) spoilers for tonight's show:

Scenes filmed to air tonight: Lydia ad Todd share dinner at a restaurant; a scene at a church (Hank's funeral?)
Still photos released: Skyler at the Simms (DEA) building; Jesse eating a meal in his cage - bucket in the background...for well...
Supposed guests tonight include Gretchen from Grey Matter and (for a yet unknown reason) a cameo by Charlie Rose.

There are some wild rumors making the rounds on message boards. The most outrageous is that Elliot (from GM) is actually the head of the Czech gang. This has been roundly debunked as a work of fan fiction, not an actual spoiler.

There's also an auction site that is selling props from the show and someone got the idea that throwing in some fake items would be cool.
Among the items are Skyler White's coffin, Huell's skeleton, Jesse's noose, Marie's prison jumpsuit and what has been getting the most attention: Todd's FBI badge.

And the framework for the end game is now being laid.

You know Walt is in New England because there's hockey on the TV.

GM is dead. I hope. No matter what, this will be epic.

We've got to be 90 minutes, minimum, next week.

75 minutes.

BTW, the hockey game that was on TV in the bar was Denver at Wisconsin from 1998 (Wisconsin won 7-4). Since nothing happens on the show by accident, I figure that is a little nod to Jesse's friend...Badger.

Also it sounded like the audio did not sync up with the video.

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

How's this for an ending:

Brutal carnage. The Nazis, Gretchen and Elliott, Lydia, Marie, Skyler, Jesse all die. Walt can't find the money on the Nazi compound. His cancer has returned and he's near his own death. Suddenly Hank reaches over and shakes Walt awake. He's on the ride-along back in the pilot episode and Hank gives him all kinds of grief for falling asleep. The DEA breaks into the meth lab and Walt spots an old student of his escaping through a neighboring window...

Re: Meth, I Hear You Callin': The Final Season of Breaking Bad

As someone pointed out on TWOP, Walt's birthday is September 6. What happens in the bar would pre-date September 6 by a few days. So the question was asked why a hockey game would be on TV in late August/early September. Good question.

Better question: If Walt has been holed up for the previous three months, that means he was there for June, July and August. So why is there snow on the ground? Granted, New Hampshire is a bit chilly in the winter months, but unless the magnetic poles shifted or New Hampshire suddenly got transported to Australia or the Andes mountains, that's the wrong time of year for snow. So, I guess we can rule out the flash forward being on Walt's actual birthday....
