Yeah....this is going to end up being Walt vs. the DEA, methinks.
Agree. I knew something was going to be done about the laptop. Hank can't find out that easily. My guess is Hank either starts suspecting Walt, or figures out it's Walt in episode 8....just in time for the long break.I said it earlier. Hank pulls the trigger that kills Walt.
...or figures out it's Walt in episode 8....just in time for the long break.
I'm trying to figure out what information they would be able to find from the bank account information that was found behind the framed picture. I don't know how that could lead back to Walt, since I was under the impression that Walt was always paid in cash.
Yeah, but if its cash, the bank wouldn't have a record of where it goes. That cash had to come from somewhere....
It would (might, depending on future details) take a leap of faith, but given the writing, there will be some sort of connection.
We can only hope.Double edit: the intro......this leads me to believe that Walt is on his own. Did Skylar leave? Did Walt off her?! Oh yeah, that's a possibility, believe you me.
Yeah, but if its cash, the bank wouldn't have a record of where it goes.
Was Walt telling Skylar "I forgive you" a little like Michael kissing Fredo? No way he just forgave her for what she did
Walt had 3 different lines/moments tonight where he took the role of king/boss/kingpin/etc.
When he said to Mike, in the back of the "Because I said it did" about whether the magnet worked.
Telling Saul "We're done when I say we're done"
And telling Skylar "I forgive you"
He's got the power, he knows it, and he now knows how to use to manipulate everyone.
When he said to Mike, in the back of the "Because I said it did" about whether the magnet worked.
Mike is a smart guy, smart enough to realize that he isn't the mastermind of any operation. Honestly, I was surprised it took him as long as it did to come around to Walt; he's a survivor and if Walt got to Gus then he's the new top of the food chain. And Mike gave him a look in the mirror...up until that point Mike had doubted and verbally questioned every move Walt made. In that moment, he seemed to acknowledge that Walt was the new boss and it isn't his place to question the boss in front of others.
