tough break for the MC goalie. He did well.

nyquist and the goalie stared each other down, then the shot goes over his stick side shoulder. i dont think that was a lucky shot

I'm not sure what to make of that call, but I've seen it ruled that way a few times... will check it out

I'll wait until the folks who were at the game get back before commenting on the goal / non-goal. I just don't know NCAA rules well enough.

Hard to fault Bunyon with the power play, though. The whistle came on the same sort of play that gave MC a power play to begin with.

Maine takes down a MC skater in their defensive zone = MC power play

MC takes down a Maine skater in their defensive zone = 4x4 followed by Maine power play.

That was by the books all the way.

I couldn't tell from where I sit if it should've counted or not. Why don't the teams join forces and get Bunyon removed? Normally someone as bad as he is at his job gets shown the door.
