Re: Merrimack Offseason Thread - Summer 2013 - Hampus on Campus

Last night was a repeat of so many games. They are not putting the puck in the net. Don't get me wrong Denver is always in the mix nationally, but I was extremely disappointed in the outcome. I came to a realization that some players are just not goal scorers. Until Merrimack can find any consistent scoring from more than one to three guys that they will always come up short.

Little shocked by the attendance at tonight's game. Only 4,000 placed seemed empty.

There is a thread for Merrimack at Denver in the Score Updates.

Should warn you, it is mostly DU fans :eek:

I wish I could say the team is snake bitten, but offensively they are just bad. They cannot score and have too few natural goal scorers. Looks like it will be a long season in North Andover.

Kinda getting the same feeling although it is VERY early.This is a case where bringing back nearly all of your scoring from last year was not necessarily a good thing.

* 0-13 on the powerplay
* 3 "Too Many Men on the Ice" penalties already!? C'mon, I thought this was a veteran team!

I guess we were wrong after last night. If they fight to get to the net like they did last night they will compete.
