Merrimack at UNH 11/27/10

gounhwildcats

Go Cats!! Beat Maine!!!
Well this is a most interesting match up. UNH comes off a split against BU last weekend and a disappointing mid week tie against Brown, in which they had to score two late goals just to salvage the point. Merrimack is coming off a win at against Boston College last night, that clinched their season series against the Eagles. For the first time ever, these teams play against each other both nationally ranked. Merrimack is a very physical team that grinds you down. UNH plays a disciplined team defensive style, but also pepper you with shots (they are averaging 40+ per game right now). Will probably be a low scoring nail biter tonight. LET'S GO CATS!!!

Dean :)

Great game introduction, Dean. Let's go get this one and do what BC didn't...

UNH to go on the power play...

12:31 left in the first, still scoreless. Hitting from behind?

Re: Merrimack at UNH 11/27/10

Brown leads Boston U. 2-0, 3 minutes in . If that holds I'll rescind my "this is a game we should have won" comment from Tuesday and just be grateful for the point we salvaged.

And they swept their North Country swing (Colgate, Cornell). Ahead of expectations thus far this year...
