Mercyhurst Lakers 2021-2022

Good luck to the Lakers today!

awesome to see Kromer get her first collegiate goal yesterday, it was a big one and a nice one. Wish the clip they put online was a bit longer, to capture the energy of the celebration.

Such a great time of year, meaningful hockey everywhere, and for weekends on end here.

Today’s outcome in the CHA will be a big one - Lakers winning is always good news in my book. One the other hand While I don’t want Cuse to win, for them to win reg season and conf tourney in same year would be a first time event. To get to do it at home would be even sweeter.

They’ll be pumped and assuming their school is not on break should have the crowd behind them. Lakers will have to thrive on the atmosphere regardless and channel that 9-0 showing a few weeks back.

First ticket to NCAA tourney gets punched today. Let’s go Lakers.

A heart-breaking 3-2 OT loss for the Lakers to the Orange, some players playing their last college hockey game.
It was an exciting game, the result could have gone either way. Syracuse up 2-0 until near the end of the 2nd when Boucher makes it 2-1 with a nice deke with roughly 2 minutes left. With the score staying 2-1 well into the 3rd period, Vasko scores with a nice shot with about 7-8 minutes left in the game to tie it up.
Both teams had a few other scoring chances throughout the game that didn’t go in and OT had both the Lakers and Orange getting opportunities to finish the game off. The Orange capitalized on their last attempt. Good luck to them in the NCAA’s, and congrats to the Lakers for getting to the final and leaving it all on the ice.
