We greatly enjoyed our visit to Lindenwood back in the fall. You have the start of the Lewis and Clark trail, the famous St. Louis Arch just a few miles down the road, and of course what Iceisnice roadtrip would be complete without a casino stop! :cool:

Unfortunately, Iceisnice is not traveling this weekend, Erie or otherwise. Iceisnice will be enjoying the local ice only.

But seriously, Mercyhurst does not have any open weekends the rest of the season so if they can't find a way to play these games, I wonder if they may just cancel them permanently.

I have been told that Friday's game will be at 3:00 PM at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena (about 45 miles due East from Erie) and Saturday's game will be at the Erie Insurance Arena (Home of the 2011 Women's Frozen Four) at 2:00 PM.

ERIE, Pa. - All Student have been asked to leave Mercyhurst Un campus by 8pm tonight due to the water main break in the City of Erie. The Mercyhurst University campus will be closed through the weekend. The Mercyhurst University women's hockey games, scheduled to be played at the Mercyhurst Ice Center this weekend, have been relocated.

Friday's game, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, will now be played at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena in Jamestown, N.Y. Faceoff is still scheduled for 3:00 p.m. against the Lady Lions of Lindenwood University.
Saturday's game, originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, will now be played at the Erie Insurance Arena in downtown Erie. Faceoff has been moved back to 2:00 p.m., also against the Lady Lions of Lindenwood University.
Also, due to the changes in venue, the games will NOT be broadcast on America One this weekend.

Come up this way for worlds in April....Great Casino across the river in Gatineau, Quebec...You can even stop in at the Mohawk reserve on the way up. That place is thriving 24/7. Just make sure you stay clear of the border patrol. They are vigilant around that reserve. :)

You should come for a visit to our barn with your old buddy from Assabet this weekend. Great team in Town Saturday, scouting opportunity for you. :) To entice you even further there is the post game parent player gathering on Saturday in the luxury suite. You are most welcome to join that festivity.

According to this morning's Erie Times News, Christie Cicero was taken off the ice via stretcher at Cornell after a colision. Does anybody have any word on how she is doing?

Nice to see Cicero back on the ice vs. RIT this past weekend. She sure hasn't lost any of her energy.
