I get confused about this every year.
I keep thinking that this game is called the Mayors' Cup, in honor of the mayors of the cities of Troy, where RPI is located, Schenectady, where Union is located, and Albany, where the game is actually played. But RPI's website says it is the Mayor's Cup, so apparently it is in honor of only one mayor.
Does that mean it is the mayor of Albany who presents the trophy to the winning team?
