MN PP.
Five. Five goals. Five goals wanted!
This is typical of the Gophers in recent years - they get a lead and immediately forget what got them the lead in the first place. They lose their mental edge and immediately start MNS'ing all over the place. Instead of winning 6-1, they end up in a needlessly tight game.Bunching up, crappy passing, lackadaisical defense. This period is not good.
Embarrassing 2nd period for the Gophs.Played the exact opposite of the first.
I need more Kool-Aid.
tDon better kick the sh* outta them between periods.
Does the performance of the other team ever affect the Gophers? Or is the outcome of the game entirely based upon how Minnesota plays?
Has he ever done that? Perhaps the coaching staff will suggest the players play better defense.
When watching a game, it is easy to tell whether it's self-inflicted or opponent-inflicted. If a team is unable to complete simple passes and isn't playing a sound positional game, that is self-inflicted. If the opponent is forcing the mistakes via strong forechecking and getting in the passing lanes, then it is not self-inflicted.Does the performance of the other team ever affect the Gophers?
Entirely on how we play.
