can anyone explain to me why the local broadcast has such a hard time with color? do't get me wrong, i love that i can watch games, but at the same time, the brightness is so bad that you lose the players and lines in the background of the ice...

I think someone said earlier HD would resolve that problem. But you are right, the whiteness is hard to watch

WPME is so outdated, it is a shame they have not upgraded it like so many stations have

Sheesh, just having the so-called "broadcast professionals" get their contrasts right would solve that problem.

Never used to have this problem; looks like a UHN broadcast out there.
