Married? Again?

What, are we supposed to close our eyes, stick our fingers in our ears, and start humming loudly to ourselves instead?

Don't project your actions onto us. I know that's straight out of the Karl Rove playbook, but that's obvious even by your insincere standards.

You also just said both sides were bad not five hours ago. Funny how quickly that morphed into yet another anti-Obama rant without a single mention about the GOP.

Color me shocked.

Nice dodge. You totally avoided even the whiff of anything remotely substantive in your "reply."

At least the Republicans have submitted a budget. Since the only factual criticism of your Beloved Leader was the absence of any budget from him, how would a comment like that even apply?

So what is it about your Dear Leader that inspires such unwavering devotion and gets you so intensely rankled that a question about his followers (not mentioning him, mind you, merely asking about his followers) and a single factual observation (which you have to agree is true, if you ever stop dodging enough to acknowledge it) becomes transformed into a "rant" at Obama personally?

It seems like you have become so emotionally invested in defending him at all costs from anything whatsoever that you can no longer think straight. it is this phenomenon that makes me curious.

you can "rant" all you want about whatever I hold most dear, and it doesn't upset me or offend me, it merely diminshes you. yet the reverse is certainly not true. Why? What is going on?

It's not unique to you either, it is fairly widespread. What inspires such fervent devotion?

I've never said anything bad about the man personally, either. I merely find his policies ineffective and misguided. yet even that has your knickers in a twist.

The President traditionally submits a budget proposal right around the time of the State of the Union Address, and Obama has done that each year in office. I think he's taken a mostly hands off approach to the current debate between the House and Senate because nothing has been agreed upon in Congress to be sent to his office for signature. Besides, that hands-off approahc has been his style since taking office, with exception to take potshots in the press.

Tell me. Are you just one giant pile of b.s. or do you just naturally produce it in such quantities that you can spew it at will?

If you're trying out for a role in Fox and Friends, you have my endorsement. The lack of self-awareness, intelligence, and sincerity combined with complete cognitive dissonance makes you a perfect candidate.

For what it's worth, not that a complete liar such as yourself deserves an actual response, President Obama has submitted his budget to Congress every year. At most you can criticize him for being tardy, but in light of current events, that seems like weak sauce given the GOP's inability to pass a simple continuing resolution in time to prevent a shutdown.

You watch Fox and Friends? Wouldn't have guessed that one.

Is it possible to dig up the original post in the first Married thread? It was a good prompt and led to some very good discussion.

This is the married thread? I must have lost focus.... :D

Re: Married? Again?

Makes perfect sense if you read the article.

I'm assuming that Bob posted the article because he's happy to see that California has decided that biological parents retain some rights, rather than assigning them in entirety to those horrible, hedonistic, society-wrecking adoptive gay parents.

Or could he really be arguing that gay adoptive parents should have more rights - that they should be favored over biological parents? That would surely be a first...

Re: Married? Again?

Glad y'all concede now that this will happen. Not long ago there were a ton of deniers around here.
