Weiss rips on from the point and it's saved....Rush going in the box now, it will be a 5x3 for 26 seconds

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

Chartrain scores with a shot from the left point, PP goal for Niagara

1-0.

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

And the rink officials are having problems again... swapped the teams' places on the scoreboard, and didn't appear to swap the SOG.... waiting to see what happens now that they're even at 6

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

Nope, still putting the SOG on the sides the teams were originally on. I think NU being "home" in the dark jerseys messed with them and they haven't figured it out yet.

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

Not sure why, but they put another 2 seconds on the clock before the faceoff. Great shot on the goal, though.

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

couple quick saves for Bonar and Martini is going to the box, Princeton on the PP

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

Don't know if they figured it out themselves or if it was my mentioning it to the crew in the penalty box, but SOGs are right now.

Definitely a close game so far, SOG are within 1, tie game, both tems carrying play for a while at a time, but evening out over time.

Re: Mariucci Classic: Niagara vs Princeton

At the end of 2, Niagara 1 goal on 24 shots, Princeton 1 goal on 19 shots

Niagara seems to be truning it on a bit harder toward the end of the 2nd, should be a good final period.
