The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Gee .. visiting Donnie's mentor and the founder of UAA's hockey program Brush Christiansen at some point perhaps? Mario seems like the kind of kid that loves the outdoors and hunting for the largest game animals in the western hemisphere; fishing for some of the largest species of fresh water and salt water fish ... "that piece of Halibut was good enough for Jehovah!". And with Uncle Brush there to keep an eye on the youngster? Hmmmm ... could be a good fit for him ... IF ... yep ... IF.
Re: Mario Lucia, when will he announce what college he will play for?
It'll be Notre Dame. If Notre Dame chooses a different conference, I'm less sure, but still would say he's going there.
And yes, I agree that he's having a hard time making this decision. I'm sure there are many people trying to sway him. But the Notre Dame thing has been around for quite some time.

That assumes he signs a LOI. He could show up on campus and register in any school where he is accepted, and he'd likely still get a scholly, especially if he made a quiet phone call to the coach (or mentioned it over dinner some night ).
