Re: Maine @ RPI, Frday the 29th

why on earth are these games at 4pm? Trying to rekindle the aura of the Christmas tournament early game?

Re: Maine @ RPI, Frday the 29th

Surely wasn't a good start, but RPI seemed to be generating a lot of good opportunities in the latter part of the first period.

If they keep that up for the rest of the game, I like their chances.

Re: Maine @ RPI, Frday the 29th

speaking of Maine and the Christmas tournament, 37 years ago yesterday Jim Tortorella scored on a manned net!

Re: Maine @ RPI, Frday the 29th

according to Tom's interview, the takeaway on Payne and York:

Payne - felt he deserved more playing time, and coach wasn't aligned; so he moved on
York - concerned w/ the time commitment to be a player in a D1 program, so moved on. I think some reading between the lines here is justified... :D

Glad everything is working well now, as far as the broadcasts are concerned. It's been a long layoff, and its cold, so even the equipment sometimes need some waking up.

broadcast is in mid-season form here - cast quality is great as usual and the boys sound terrific.
