Bump. Hopefully this thread gets more active soon.........![]()
Has Gendron landed any impressive recruits yet? As great a coach and motivator as Walsh was, he still had talent that was on par with, or greater than the top teams in the league and just don't see Maine getting back to even close to that level of success again unless they can start truly bringing in more grade "A" recruits. Too many 3rd and 4th line types filling the roster and it's going to be real tough for Gendron to break that cycle.
Patience oh goofy oneGot to give him 4 years

LEWISTON —Lucas Michaud said it would be an honor to play for his home state.
The 16-year-old from South Portland native committed to the University of Maine last Wednesday for the fall of either 2015 or 2016.
“(The coaching staff) was nice and they all seemed like they were very good coaches,” said Michaud, who visited the school last Tuesday. “They have a lot of experience from their time playing professionally and I think it will help me to get to the next level.”

Take note fellow and future Maine stars...going to BU or BC guarantees you nothing.
