Re: Maine Hockey Thread II: The Search for Spock

Maybe he could train the goalies how to knock the posts off every time the opposing team comes into Maines zone
LOL. I have a better chance of winning Powerball tonight than Maine hiring an asst. of the Red Devil

Re: Maine Hockey Thread II: The Search for Spock

St. Lawrence released their 2013-2014 schedule and I found the following on their website:

The Saints, who will open the season with an exhibition game at Appleton Arena against Carleton University of Ottawa on Oct. 7 will host the University of Maine on Oct. 11-12 as part of Homecoming and Hall of Fame weekends to kick off the NCAA portion of the schedule.

Didn't meant to tweak anybody here.. actually I hope you are right and Bavis is available after next season when UVM fires Sneddon. He knows HE inside out, is a terrific recruiter and will be motivated to beat the "Red Devil".

Apparently, naming the new pontiff in Rome was an easier task... Wonder what the white smoke in Orono will smell like, when they finally make up their minds.

Keep your eye on the chimney at the steam plant.

Re: Maine Hockey Thread II: The Search for Spock

Too ****ed funny....watching the smoke from the Steam Plant chimney! LMAO! I think that the Corks is done and is going to move on. Abbott would have made an announcement already, otherwise. If Corks IS the man, why would he be selected and then accept the position to coach the kids later in the year? HIS time, as the new head coach, would be better spent trying to resurrect a dismally mediocre program to national prominence. Let someone else do the USA stuff.
