Good news out of orono today, the days of ted woodward are finally over. Umaine basketball was a lot of fun 15 years ago or so when bedard was there and hopefully they bring in a coach who can get maine back at that level and hopefully into the tourney once in awhile.

Who's really coming next year?
From the recruiting thread we have the following for 2014 or maybe 2015:

Defensemen: Hayes/Spicer/Hamilton
Forwards: Lacroix/Widmar/Pecararo/Musil/Badger/Vesey
Goalie: Romeo

Add to them Tegeler(F) and Nugnes(G) who were on the roster but didn't play AFAIK.

There will be two or three players not returning.

I could be wrong but I am not sure spicer will be at Maine next year. I have not heard about a change in plans to come to Maine but may not be next year.

CHN has him listed as 2014, but this BDN article http://bangordailynews.com/2013/12/06/sports/defenseman-from-colorado-commits-to-umaine-hockey-team/ says he plans to skate in the USHL next year, and that their original article on him incorrectly listed him as a 2014 recruit.

I was going to bid on a game-worn Nyquist jersey, but it was already over $1500, with two weeks left. It was easily the highest for a Red Wing player. I ended up getting a game-worn Brian Flynn jersey from Buffalo - and they're getting it autographed for me!

In other jersey news, Jimmy Howard was #22 on the list of most-purchased jerseys on NHL.com this season.
