I agree. In this year's class Robbins and Michel look good. Gibson ok, Muelbauer too young but may turn out to be good. Rai, concussions so.....

Perez scored the game winner against Merrimack on Saturday night. Good for him. Overall, I view him currently as also mediocre.

Anyone know why Cochrane sees no time? Or I haven't seen him. 6'-6" 225#, got some reach, should be able to keep the net front cleared out.

Can't keep up? would be my guess

I don't know if Red ever announced it but it didn't take long to figure out since the only ice time he saw was an exhibition.
Ok...but when they Red-Shirted Hayes they announced it along with his surgery on his shoulder...just missed it I guess. Thanks.

Overall, I am very pleased with the sounds of the guys coming in next year and the development of the freshman. Think we will have some skill, tenacity and size next year. Should be a very, very tough team to play against. Also think in 2 years, we will be knocking solidly on the door, and three years from now we will be somewhere in the top ten and will have returned to relevancy on the national picture. Just my honest opinion, for what its worth, and gd it I'm sticking to it. :). Oh yeah, and speaking of Hayes, keep an eye on this guy when he finally returns... too much unrealized potential to be forgotten.

Hayes had an injury and I think he played a game or two. Cochrane couldn't make the lineup or he would have played.

I wonder if they will put Hayes back at D?

I doubt it. Doesn't appear to have all the tools at this level.... But, a POWER forward with a capital P :);)

I don't believe there was a formal announcement but he is still available if needed. This late in the season it makes no sense to use him and take away a year of eligibility.

Hayes was in 3 games.

Love your optimism. Used to be that way myself, but I just don't see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore.

This is a very bad D-1 team. The best forwards are going to graduate, and they weren't exactly special. This Freshman class is a washout, IMO. Robbins is probably the pick of the litter, but he'd be a 3rd-liner on a good team. The rest of them have shown no real promise at all, IMO.

I really really hope that I'm wrong, but it looks to me that Maine will have no better chance at the NCAAs than will Huntsville in the foreseeable future. Rock bottom is here. (Again, for all the old bucks.)

That possibly could be the case...hoping not...but hey the AD is fine with the path that RG has forged so far...he said W's & L's are not a worry, the foundation is in place and feels fine with it...ya right...Team/Program has gone down in the last 3 years...have a good chance that 10 wins won't happen...can you believe that under 10 wins and not a-lot of hope for next season(imo). But then again this started happening long ago...this Train Wreck started a few seasons after 2001...things should have been addressed then...but they stayed the course and this is where there at. They will be if nothing gets better through recruiting no more then a 45th to 60th rated Div.1 Team/Program...bottom 4 in Hockey East. Should be interesting how they PITCH next seasons season ticket sales and trying to get anyone to pay the price to see sub standard hockey at top dollars...hard to sell losing, winning brings in money with nary a complaint...but keep stringing along losing seasons and that's a TOUGH SELL to Mainer's.

Anybody know what Northeastern charges to stream their games?
