Maine Black Bears 2026 Offseason: Missing Out on Mistlebacher

https://www.mainehockeyhistory.com/players/richard-cote

I would guess the accents on his name (Côté) makes it so Cote doesn't show up. He's definitely in the directory/recruiting classes but something I'll need to check to see if it's causing redirect issues as there are a few players like that over the years.

I have stats sorting by eras currently, but definitely have season by season sorting on my roadmap to add in the future.
Thanks for your response, I figured the accents had something to do with it. Your efforts are appreciated!

This is where we miss Joey Diamond. He was a social media wiz. I remember when he got headlines for announcing Maine was dropping "Black Bears" and changing to...

iu

People didn't notice he made the announcement on the first of April...
Johnny Diamond… Joey Diamond was in the penalty box too much to have time to tweet.

Why park? Stay at the Ursa and walk. The best part is standing outside the hotel doors and looking at the endless stream of tall lights from the traffic sitting at a standstill on College Ave.
The Ursa is a money pit. The U is putting students in there this year and still has to payout 500 grand to keep it open

Only 28 (non-obstructed view) seats remain available for the home opener, 14 for the Friday night BC game and six for the Saturday night game.

The BU game is completely sold out.

Hockey bridge, in case there's any umaine engineers or others on here still interested. This bridge engineer on YouTube is digging into the topic. I linked his first video on the topic a few weeks ago, this is his 2nd I think. Pretty interesting so far.

All the publicity from the team says that tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM. But on the website page for single-game tickets, every game says that on sale starts tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Anyone know any reason for this discrepancy? If its anything like last year, every game will be sold out within seconds, or maybe minutes at best. If I dont get to see anything until 10, but they did go on sale at 830, that could be a big problem.

The Saturday night game against Boston College is sold out. Only two seats remain for Friday.
There is one ticket for the home opener, three for Saturday.
A handful of tickets remain for Colgate (no pairs)
For the UMass games there are three and seven tickets left for Friday and Saturday.

The BU game on February 5 has been sold out at the ticket office, but every ticket available on Seatgeek and Stubhub were also scooped up this weekend.

So the gamble -- sell tickets now on stubhub or wait.
If they struggle first half value goes down, if they come out hot value might increase significantly.
Plan on selling a number of games to recoup the massive price increase.
With parking fees and people paying crazy prices on the 2ndary market its starting to not feel like maine hockey anymore.
