Poirier is obviously an offensive talent but I’m not sure he’s the type of team player that wins you a NC. Yes I’m trying to spin this into something positive.

I've said numerous times that I expected basically an entirely new locker room for next year, but the reality of it still really sucks. I'd guess Barr went scorched earth, combined with a few guys that wanted more $.
McMahon says he may be headed to Big 10. Did a team buy him off the Maine roster?

As in all NCAA sports, unfortunately. If you aren't in the Big Ten or SEC, "what are we doing here?" is going to be a fraught question.

To paraphrase Billy Beane in Moneyball, the schools with little or no NIL money are organ donors for the teams that have the big dough. Very unfortunate situation for the have nots.
Caeden Harrington is a Vermont kid that was a big get for UVM. Now he's gone after one year.
