Yup.
I gotta think some season tick holders wouldn't mind selling a few games, at a low price.
I have 5 Friday games for sale...Jan.3/Jan.31/Feb.7/Feb.14/Feb.21....for $35.oo total(figures @ $7 per game). Section D Row 8 (top row) seat 16. But don't know how we can do the purchase.

Take the U’s claims about sport revenue and profit/loss at face value at your own risk. I feel like they can more or less make it say whatever they want.

While true to a degree when it comes to revenues, the University can't lie about spending. Not only is it a public university accountable to the Legislature and ultimately the voters, as a recipient of federal educational funding it must report to the federal government and comply with Title IX (and more).

One Hockey East writer picks a split, and the other picks a Maine sweep this weekend.

Re: Maine Black Bears 2019-20: Seeing Red

Well UNH/MAINE series should at least break 4k per night..? If not then no matter how well the team plays and ticket price cutting the Program has gone stale in terms of bringing back fans.

I just checked and it doesn't look like they have sold that many tickets. Hopefully there is a great student showing.

I'm expecting one. The balcony was nearly filled in against BU two weekends ago, and the Naked 5, Barstool Black Bears, etc have been doing outreach on social media and around campus to get people excited for the game and down to the rink. Also, it's the first game against UNH at Alfond since my freshman year not to be either during a school break, and three years ago there was nearly a stampede to get into the Arena to see a much worse Maine team play. I'll be in line around 3:30 or so just to be safe.

Maine women tie the game at 4 with a PPG in the final minute of regulation, only to win 5-4 in OT over Providence. Exciting finish.

Re: Maine Black Bears 2019-20: Seeing Red

UHN up 1-0 Stupid penalty by 24 led to a PP goal on a shot Swayman should have had. So far Maine isn't impressing me

Re: Maine Black Bears 2019-20: Seeing Red

Frustrating period to watch. I would bet Maine has a healthy edge in time of possession, but they seen to have forgotten how to pass once again. They can't connect on any passes and keep hitting sticks in lanes or shin pads. 1-0 UNH after one. Shots 7-6 for UNH.

Red moved poison off the line with fossier. I thought that line worked good.

It did, and Doherty has never clicked with Fossier and Tralmaks for whatever reason. But, Red in his infinite wisdom chose tonight to tinker with his lines.
