1-0 UML after the second. Not a great period for Maine. Shots after two are 23-15 for UML.

Its a tie, 1-1. Maine looked about even to Lowell in the first, pretty bad in the second, and even again in the third, possible slight edge to Maine, and pretty good in overtime. Final shots 37-31 for UML.
 
Good to see Maine battle for a hard earned point on the tie. Goalie dual I guess. Let’s hope Maine plays as good or better tomorrow.

Pretty good outcome, all things considered.

Swayman is keeping Red afloat.

Maine has 3 penalties for 6 minutes tonight. Last weekend they had 6 and 7 penalties respectively. Not bad comparatively speaking. They are improving. After 9 games, it’s apparent that the Game 1 stomping by PC was an aberration.

Some battles in hockey east tonite. All things considered a come from behind tie shows promise. Now a win tomorrow would be a statement.

Was thinking after the game that the lineup Maine used to finish the game they likely lose the entire first line and 2/3 of the third line. Out of the guys who are committed only Breen inspires much confidence. Some very important work to be done the next six months or Maine is really going to be in a bad place.

With that being said, I’m pretty happy with a tie last night. Maine’s guaranteed to go at least .500 overall for the two weekends against BU and Lowell which I will take.

Anyone know if/where tonites game will be streaming for free?
I haven't kept up with all the broadcast changes this year.

Video does cost money through CBS sports, either $6 a month with commercials or $10 a month commerical free. You can also do a one week free trial and then just cancel after the game. Im pretty sure it also gets you most Hockey East games and some NCHC too.

The commercial part doesn't apply to live events, it's for the CBS exclusive TV shows and whatnot. $5 a month gets you the live broadcast with whatever level of advertising the home team inserts into broadcasts.
 
Nice to see Maine football get a decisive win against that team that played them tough in CAA finals last year, Elon. Maine is 0.750 with Fagnano as the starter. His td to int as a starter(last four games) is 13-3. So his average is a little better than 3 tds and a little less than 1 int per game... and 317 yards passing. What an outstanding start he has had.

Maine out to an early lead, and dominated for the first ten minutes. UML is starting to turn the tide, but its now 4-on-4

Maine doing well on face offs too. 13-7. A stat they managed to reverse from last night. Let’s hope that trend continues.

Maine girls are also up 1-0 after first period even though they only have 12 skaters tonight. Their shots were 12-2 in favor of Maine.
