This must be what it was like watching Umass Amherst and Merrimack play each other back in the 90’s.

I think Maine will get enough from the half dozen or so decent players to prevent them from being truly embarrasing, but Red better have one hell of a class lined up for next year. It’s shocking how bad the freshmen forwards are.

I don't think I agree. Poisson can actually win a faceoff and has looked decent if unspectacular so far, and Drobot and Gaudette look like good bottom six options. I will agree none of them are all that skilled aside from maybe Poisson, but I don't think they are that bad. The freshman D are concerning me more.

Obviously the opponent quality wasn't high, but undoubtedly a much better game. I think having a decently put together lineup helped a lot.
