Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

Re: Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

He shoots high and wide, sounds like 2 years ago

Re: Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

diamond and gibbons heading off with matching minors... pp sounds better... no result though

diamond for embellishment... ***

Re: Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

Might be different with Dimmen and O'Neill playing but I doubt the result would be different

Maybe so, but keep in mind that BC is without arguably its best D-Man in Tommy Cross and has been forced to suit up a true walk-on because of the Kevin Hayes injury.

I know it. With all those injuries, they must learn how to cope with only dressing 9 NHL draftees + Muse, Gibbons and Whitney!

The adversity in Chestnut Hill is overwhelming :)

Dimmen and O'Neill are the top D-Pairing, and we have questionable depth behind them. BC can dress 4 pro-drafted D-Men, with all but 1 having championship experience behind Cross. Excuse my lack of sympathy ;)

Not so sure about that.........losing your 2 best defensemen against one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the country. Lost weekend.......move on.

Its all speculation but it appears Maine isn't as good as their ranking indicates

They have next weekend off which is a good thing, they need to work on PP combinations

Re: Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

And it appears like this a different team from the North Dakota weekend.

At the time beating NoDak seemed like a real big deal, but as it turns out, I don't think they are the great team that everyone thought they were. Still good wins, but just sayin...

Re: Maine at BC, Sunday Afternoon,

Not that we need a reminder......but the team that is sweeping Maine at home this weekend is the unanimous pick to win Hockey East this year and the defending National Champs. Maine is better......but they have a LONG way to go before being mentioned in the same breath as BC.......in fact, Maine is more on Merrimack's level and definitely behind BU and UNH at this point. Oh yeah.......Nyquist for Hobey! (rolling my eyes)

Yeah......they only swpet Wisconsin in Madison and split with UNO on the road since then............

They were big wins for this Maine team and will help at the end of the year. On the other hand Maine isn't the best team in HE at this point, its early yet and they have time to improve. With the goaltending situation at Maine, they're ahead of where I'd thought they'd be. Gus needs to get going for this team to have much of a chance

UW isn't exactly FF material this year and Nodak already has 5 losses, so again, they aren't that great this year. Not saying Maine isn't good, but look at their road record.
