Well from what I've been told from some individuals close to the situation, Timmay ain't going anywhere. I'm not pulling a Priceless, but I'm not saying who so don't ask. With the increase in travel budget, the large decrease in revenue and the general financial state of the U, and a big dose of politics, the decision has pretty much been made not to buy him out. Abbott stays, doesn't stay, doesn't matter. He's not getting extended but he's not getting fired either.

This has been clear for quite awhile, UMaine doesn't have the money to do anything, its not rocket science if you live in Maine and pay attention to whats going on.

Weasel boy, aka Blake James is now the AD at Miami, they must be looking for a fall guy.

It isn't rocket science and I've know this for a while also. I'm just growing tired of people wasting their breath calling for his head. We all want him gone. But it's going to be another year.

When does his contract expire? Never mind, I found an article saying his contract was extended through the 2013-2014 season. Maybe one more year and you'll have a new coach?

I agree, one poster in particular says the same thing every day. Its tiring. Get over it and hope the team continues to improve

The rocking chair on the front porch got blown down the stairs last night just before we went to bed. That isn't a terribly rare occurrence. But the grill on the back deck apparently got rocked so hard in the wind that two wheels - in opposite corners - came out. I've tied it to the railing so it doesn't pull a Wizard of Oz on me.

I got snow drifts so big I cant get through them. No idea how much snow we got here near Gorham....cant possibly measure it, but dont remember seeing this much snow since I was a kid.

Good news: Tonight's UVM-Maine game is streamed for free on the UVM site.
Bad news: There are no other games in Hockey East and the Bruins are postponed, so the server is likely to be overloaded.

Yeah, the B's waited to send the postponement email until 3:45. Of course, we left at 2:00 and didn't get the email until we parked. Oh well, at least we had a great meal in the North End.
