He wasn’t playing very much so that might have played into his decision to leave.

Let's hope for a good showing from the Lakers at the Ledyard Classic today and tomorrow.

Yeah it was a nice way to start off the second half. With all the new guys this season, the play has been kind of inconsistent, but there good signs there for the future even though we're losing some good players after this season.
Disappointing weekend for the Lakers, only getting 1 point. A big problem they've had for the past couple of years is not scoring the first goal of a game and having to play from behind too much of the time. Their opponents have now scored the first goal in the last 7 games and 10 of the last 11. Of 25 games so far this season, the Lakers have scored the first goal only 6 times. They somehow have to fix that. Having to chase the game so much of the time is not a recipe for success.

I read somewhere that former Laker goalie Blaine Lacher passed away recently. He still holds the NCAA record for most consecutive shutout minutes at 375:01. So sad, RIP Blaine.

Nice win last night scoring with 6.6 seconds left. The Lakers pulled it together without Westcott. Great showing by the Milburn brothers. I think LSSU has a good chance to upset Bemidji.

Yes. Although they didn't score first, they never fell behind by more than 1 goal. Bemidji is on a hot streak. It's a 1 game semifinal so, the Lakers will really need to come out ready to play on Saturday.

Damon often talks about how much he likes his situation in the Soo, so I don't know how much interest he might have in moving on. Obviously almost all other D1 head coaching jobs are going to pay more so that is always a consideration.
