Is Steve Ruggerio coming back this season ? On College Hockey news , they have him on the new roster .
Laker Hockey Talk show Thursday morning with a podcast to follow afterwards (hopefully).
For reasons unknown, it was not on today.
A great article on the 1993 NCAA championship game and the controversy that still sorounds it.

Also I think some Laker fans have said the Lakers could be 1991 NCAA Champions if it wasn't for the officiating in the Clarkson series. The Lakers lost the best of series 2-1. It would of been epic if the Lakers and NMU would of meet.

Frank Cole? IIRC it was an Eastern ref.
I don't remember the name but yes I believe it was an Eastern ref. Clarkson won the series on the power play, which was their strength that season. The ref called the games very tight, unlike what the Lakers, and pretty much all Western teams, were use to. I think the story goes that the ref had to be escorted out of town; I'm not sure if that is true, but that's how the story goes.
He had to be escorted out of the arena by the Soo PD. A large and angry crowd had assembled in the parking lot and there is no doubt in my mind that he would have been physically harmed if not for the armed police presence.
